Back on Track!!!

After a scrappy draw at Scunthorpe United and Buzsaky proving he is one of the best players in the Championship with two stunning goals, we followed up last night with a win at Burnley. A match which was postponed earlier this season because of the death of QPR wonder kid Ray Jones saw the boys put in a performance he would be proud of. Stewart and Vine got the goals which lifts us off the foot of the table. We have got Wolves at home next which will be a test, but picking up 4 points in our last 2 away games the Loftus Road crowd will have to get behind the lads on Saturday. If you have Facebook join this QPR group. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=19117213536

What a Joke!

After the absolute shambles of a performance second half we really need to look at ourselves. I was there and it was a complete joke we didn’t have a clue. We can’t defend to save our life’s, and Rehman and Malcolm should never play for the team again!! We got to improve before we start to play the bigger teams because if we don’t we will be down by January and nothing and no amount of cash will save us!!

Chelsea v QPR FA Cup 3rd Draw

It happened the dream tie for QPR, its against our local rivals Chelsea in the 3rd round of the FA Cup!. The tickets will be like gold-dust but if you are a lucky person and get your hands on one it will be one of QPR biggest games in the past 5years. We can now just count down the days un till The Rangers Boys meet the Chelsea Boys!!

Blackpool v QPR

We have to win tomorrow pure and simple, it’s a 6 pointer they are just above us, there rubbish and we should really play them off the park. It was bad at Stoke but we have to fight for this one tomorrow!! C’mon you Superhoops!!!!!!!!

QPR Must see video

I found this on You Tube have a look at the best bits of 2007. Leave a comment about it as well

Interview with QPR season ticket holder Robert Finn

sp_a0092.jpg  On paper the form under De Canio so far usually keeps teams comfortably in mid table but we need to be maximising points just now if we’re to even get to those sorts of heights.

I talk to Queens Park Rangers season ticket holder Robert Finn on his views on the new manager and on where I feels the club is going. By Sean Simara

“I feel the jury is still out on De Canio there is always a buzz around a club when a new man arrives but it’s still essentially the same outperforming team on the pitch.” the Italian came to the London club in October 2007 and there was an instant cry of ‘Who’ went round Shepherds Bush. “I only heard of Gigi for the first time when I saw the story in The Sun a couple of days before he arrived.”

The expectations at the club has always been high it was only 12 years ago they where officially the best club in the capital. Now they find themselves in the bottom half of the Championship. “I don’t remember a start to the season anything like this one, and its quite unnerving when your team is unable to get a win week in week out!”

He went on to say “Its very early days so its difficult to say how we will do this season but I think the new board, management and squad are capable of achieving a higher mid table finish and after the start we had I will be very happy with that.”

De Canio has made major additions to the clubs backroom staff and on the pitch bringing in Scott Sinclair on loan from rivals Chelsea, Buzsaky and Vine to boost the numbers, but QPR are known for their consistent awful defending. “I just hope eh has some ideas about how to avoid giving away silly points that should have been in the bag, that will be the difference between an enjoyable April or another nail biter.”

But the key question is De Canio the right man for the job, Robert and many QPR fans think so. “If Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore (new owner) have confidence in him then I certainly do. Whichever way you look at it the appointment has bee a positive one so far. We have never had a foreign manager in our history and that speaks volumes about the direction we are going, Onwards and Upwards!!”

QPR V Sheffield Wednesday preview, De Canio’s fourth game!

De Canio will take charge of his 4th QPR game tomorrow as we take on Sheffield Wednesday at Loftus Road. Last season

the score was 1-1. De Canio has had an impressive start to live at QPR and we have seen an improvement in style,

confidence and defending. I feel the unknown man from Italy will soon take us up the league out of our current position

of 22nd in the Championship.Speaking to QPR WORLD on the next game he said,

“Sheffield Wednesday are in a splendid run of form at present and will represent a tough test. They are in optimum condition and will provide us with a very hard obstacle to overcome.”
